This Hauppauge-based firm began fighting back a few years ago by implementing a slew of energy efficiency measures.

Bohemia, NY / October 29, 2008 Two Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STAR Partners — M.C. Alliance Energy Group, based in Bohemia, NY, and Target Rock, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control based in East Farmingdale, NY— are pleased to announce the achievement of their first milestone under the ENERGY STAR challenge: Target Rock has exceeded its 10% target for energy reductions in the past year.  The results were accomplished using the ENERGY STAR 5 Step Approach for benchmarking and managing their energy system budgets.  Target Rock and M.C. Alliance Energy Group have set a goal for the upcoming year to reduce consumption by an additional 10% from the benchmark.
